Brian P. Strength was born in Valley, Alabama. He received his bachelor’s of science degree from Auburn University in 1994. In 1998, he graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law. Prior to starting his own firm in 2008, Brian worked for the law firm of Bradley, Arrant, Boult, Cummings primarily representing defendants in civil litigation. Brian also was a member of the Cochran Firm and served as managing attorney in its Tuskegee, Alabama office. Since graduating law school, his practice has focused exclusive on civil litigation, including products liability, employment, accidents involving large trucks, and wrongful deaths. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Federal Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Brian has been featured in numerous publications such as The American Lawyer,The National Law Journal, and Lawyers Weekly USA. Brian successfully tried the case of Whittaker v. Southwestern Life Insurance Company which resulted in a jury verdict of $1.62 billion, making it the largest jury verdict in the United States for 2004. Since that time, Brian has successfully tried many cases, included Sutton v. Capitolwerks, a $9 million verdict in a business dispute, Scott v. Tuskegee Federal Credit Union, a $5.5 million verdict in a bank fraud cases, and Luster v. The Landings, a $2.3 million verdict in a premises liability case involving a defective pool.
Brian’s current practice involves representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. Current clients include Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, Pfizer, Inc., and CVS Pharmacy.
Brian is a regular speaker at legal seminars and active in his local and state bar associations, immediate past president of the Tuskegee Rotary Club
